Create Order Out of Chaos
Managing Your Endeavor(s)

Do you find yourself in a perpetual loop of trying to get yourself organized?

Are you starting a new project and feel overwhelmed with now another plate to spin in the air?

We get it. We all want that desired state where endeavors flow with ease. We’re grateful our brand HandyGuide journeys have provided many opportunities for observation of various industry channels. Now we have ever greater clarity of how to structure the start-up phase of projects.

We are currently exploring how to strengthen the launch of new endeavors by managing the person-to-person interactions and the streams of information coming in to us. As leaders, we all have a mix of various data piles bouncing around on behalf of our missions. It’s no wonder we feel scattered.

Our Data Streams: Manual • Physical • Digital • Virtual

  • Manual When you rely on your brain's memory capacity, your consciousness lists and remembers all your intended tasks.

  • Tools: Physical notebooks, binders, checkbooks, post-it notes, and envelopes are used as aids

  • Digital phone call notes, texts, calendars, images, notes, research links, and payments add to the pile

  • Virtual third party tools such as cloud shared docs, (ie Dropbox) forms, designs, receipts, and services become another growing area

This is the forest.

The way through is to perhaps acknowledge and sort the different ‘tree’ types and set them up in a way that we can manage this mix of incoming and outgoing stuff (data).
